I had purchased a different product to control my air conditioner, it was over ¥18,000.It did the job but costly.I had seen reviews on this product and YouTube videos but couldn’t it would work as well as it does!I am using it to control my Mitsubishi air conditioner and my Sharp TV! It could handle more IR products if I had them in the same room.There are lists of air conditioners and tv’s to automatically connect with, but mine were not able to from the selection.But SwitchBot have this covered! I could create a new remote by pressing the buttons on my remote at the SwitchBot unit and it would remember the signal and I could match it to a remote on my iPhone screen.Took a few mins to set up but works like a charm! I’ve also connected it to Siri and use short cuts to turn them on and off by command.Scheduling times and a zone to also turn on and off was a breeze. Of course the original air conditioner remote has more detailed functions available but the basics (65%) are all there.The tv remote has (90%) the same as the original remote so works great.I do have an Apple HomePod Mini to use it with Siri, but as it is a hub it’s self it should be able to connect the same, but for the price of an Apple HomePod mini and this SwitchBot unit it is still cheaper than the “other” unit that only has one purpose.
